About

Welcome to Holy Faith Convent, Couva.

Founded in 1951 by the Sisters of the Holy Faith, who came from Ireland, Holy Faith Convent, Couva has served generations of young women through a tradition of faith, education and service. As we celebrate 75 years of existence in 2026, we honour the vision and sacrifice of those who laid our foundation while looking confidently towards the future.

Rooted in our Catholic identity and guided by our motto, Unus Dominus, Una Fides — One Lord, One Faith, we remain committed to the development of the whole person—academically, spiritually, socially and emotionally. We strive to create an environment in which every student is encouraged to discover her gifts, pursue excellence and grow into a young woman of faith, integrity, compassion and purpose.

For 75 years, our school has built a proud tradition of academic achievement, character formation and service. Today, we continue that legacy by preparing our students not only to succeed academically, but also to think critically, act responsibly, serve generously and respond confidently to the opportunities and challenges of a changing world.

Our mission is strengthened by the partnership of our dedicated staff, parents, alumnae, Church and wider community. Together, we seek to ensure that Holy Faith Convent remains a place where our students are valued, challenged and supported to become the best versions of themselves.

As we celebrate this significant milestone, we do so with gratitude for those who have gone before us, pride in who we are today, and hope for the generations yet to come.

I invite you to explore our website and experience the faith, excellence, tradition and vibrant community that make Holy Faith Convent, Couva a special place to learn and grow.
